Maggie Youngren of Hermantown and Mike Malone of Hermantown, formerly of Lakeville, Minn., plan to be married Oct. 2 in Duluth.
Her parents are Keith and Trudy Youngren of Hermantown. His parents are Tim and Georgine Malone of Lakeville.
The future bride, a 2002 graduate of Lakeview Christian Academy in Duluth, graduated from Northwestern College in St. Paul in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in history. She is a buying support associate at Maurices Corporate in Duluth.
The future groom, a 2004 graduate of Lakeville High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2008 with a bachelor's of business administration in marketing. He is a sales and promotions coordinator for University of Minnesota Duluth athletics and an account coordinator at Westmoreland Flint in Duluth.
