Heather Willoughby and Steven Hyjek, both of Minneapolis, plan to be married Nov. 4 in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
Her parents are Kathy and Dwight Willoughby of Superior. His parents are Jane and Frank Hyjek of Buffalo, Minn.
The future bride, a 1995 graduate of Superior Senior High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Minneapolis in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in public health, psychology and African development. She is a wellness coach at Hyjek Chiropractic in Minneapolis.
The future groom, a 1996 graduate of Fargo (N.D.) South High School, graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minn., in 2003 with a doctor of chiropractic medicine degree. He is a chiropractor at Hyjek Chiropractic.
