Friday: Other than a few lingering clouds in the morning, skies will begin to clear out quickly with plenty of sunshine in our forecast. Temperatures will remain just a touch cooler by Lake Superior today thanks to a light northeast wind. We will go with a high near 62 degrees up on top of the hill, but downtown Duluth will likely not get out of the 50s. Areas farther inland will see mid-to-upper 60s.
Friday night: Clear skies, light winds, and the cooler air mass will lead to another chilly night with a low near 40, but it could get chilly enough to the north for a frost advisory to be issued.
Saturday: After a chilly start to our Saturday morning, high pressure building in with sunshine will bring temperatures to an afternoon high near 64. It will once again be much cooler by the lake due to some breezy east winds gusting up to 20 mph.
Sunday: More sunshine is expected on Sunday with highs in the upper 60s. Clouds return to start the week along with a few hit and miss chances of showers and storms.
