After another frosty start for parts of the Northland, we reach back into the mid-60s Friday. An area of high pressure exits the region with a south wind developing behind it and skies remaining clear until the evening as clouds thicken ahead of the next rainmaker. This system brings scattered showers and fog overnight and continuing through Saturday. As such, temps will be much milder Friday night hovering in the mid 40s to low 50s, but temperatures struggle to crawl out of the 50s during the day Saturday. Showers taper off overnight into Sunday with somewhere in the realm of a half-inch of rain expected when all said and done. Our gloomy Saturday will be followed by plenty of sunshine and a return to the mid 60s Sunday.

Friday: Mostly sunny with gradually increasing clouds. High 65. S wind 2-8 mph.

Saturday: Scattered showers and areas of fog. High 58. E wind becoming W 2-8 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny. High 65. NW wind 5-15 mph.
