Tuesday: An area of high pressure will keep skies clear and winds light today as temperatures reach the mid-50s. Humidity in the teens and low 20s will keep fire dangers high across the Northland.
Wednesday: Clouds return Wednesday as a system approaching from the northwest coincides with moisture carried in by southerly flow. This will result in a chance of rain arriving from the west in the afternoon and evening. This round tapers off overnight into early Thursday morning with a widespread chance for between about a quarter of an inch and a half-inch in total rainfall. Temps will top out near 52.
Thursday: We may see isolated showers and thunderstorms develop Thursday evening as daytime heating leads to instability. Thursday will mark the return to seasonable conditions for most areas with temperatures reaching into the 60s. This comfortable stretch carries us through the weekend with even warmer air arriving at the start of next week.
