Tuesday's forecast for the Northland: Below-average temps continue

Well below-average temperatures will continue Tuesday along with another chance of isolated areas of snow flurries developing into the afternoon hours.

Tuesday: Overall, we should start off with plenty of sunshine and temps in the teens before topping out near 32 degrees by the afternoon with increasing clouds and a few hit-and-miss flurries. Winds will still be breezy, but not as strong as yesterday with a northwest breeze gusting up to 20 mph.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy skies and any flurries will vanish quickly after sunset with clear and cold conditions settling in overnight for a low near 16.

Wednesday: We will see a mix of clouds and sun for our Wednesday as we begin a very slow warming trend. Winds will be lighter with an afternoon high near 38.

Much of the week with remain mainly dry and quiet with a slow and steady warming trend back into the upper 40s and low 50s by the end of the week and into the weekend.
