Thursday: If you enjoyed the beautiful weather Wednesday then you will be happy to hear we are in for round two of sunny and warm conditions again for most of the day. The one exception will be to areas along the shoreline of Lake Superior where a light southeast breeze will keep temperatures much cooler in the low 50s and 60s, but 70s and 80s will be expected farther inland again. We will split the difference and go with an official forecast high on top of the hill near 70 degrees this afternoon.
Thursday night: The sunshine will eventually transition into partly cloudy skies overnight with a mild low temperature near 50.
Friday: We may start our Friday morning with a little bit of sunshine, but clouds will increase along with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and a few thunderstorms with a high near 66.
A pattern change over the weekend will bring a chance of much-needed moisture to the area to help dampen down the high fire danger. It doesn’t look like a total washout, though, and we should see some sunshine mixed in at times.
