Your forecast for today: A cold front marching through western and central Minnesota this morning will very slowly make its way into the Northland today. We will see an initial round of storms this morning push into the region from the West. Some of these storms could be on the stronger side, but after a slight break during the middle of the day, I am expecting a second round of storms this evening that could pack more of a severe threat. These storms will be capable of large hail, damaging winds and some heavy rainfall. Temperatures will top out near 78 degrees between the clouds and showers.

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms will be ongoing this evening before gradually tapering off overnight under mostly cloudy skies and a low temperature near 54 degrees.

Tomorrow: Sunshine returns to our forecast Friday with a pretty nice day shaping up. The humidity levels will also drop slightly and make things feel more comfortable with an afternoon high near 74 degrees.

Temperatures will top out in the upper 60s and lower 70s over the weekend with another chance of showers and storms Saturday evening into Sunday.
