High pressure is responsible for a sunny start to the workweek. Temperatures top off in the mid-20s to low 30s with a mild east wind. Clouds return Monday night ahead of an approaching system, allowing temperatures to rise to the mid and upper 20s by early Tuesday morning. Snow chances move in from the west Tuesday morning. The responsible area of low pressure sliding in from the south will nudge in warmer air that could lead to a wintry mix in the afternoon. Freezing rain and light ice accumulation can't be ruled out. A shift in the track of this system and the warmer air associated with it would change expected snow totals. As of now, there's a widespread chance for around an inch or less with 1-3 inches possible along the North Shore. Dry conditions settle in Tuesday night and precipitation chances then remain low the rest of the week. Thanksgiving Day is shaping up to be quiet and mild.

Monday: Mostly sunny. High around 28. E wind 5-10 mph. Monday night: Becoming mostly cloudy. Low 23. E wind 5-10 mph.

Tuesday: Snow and wintry mix possible. High 33. SE wind 5-15 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. High 36. NE wind 2-8 mph.
