Showers return later in the workweek

Expect plenty of sunshine today and tomorrow before more precipitation arrives in the region.

Highs will top off near 70 degrees this afternoon. It will be a little breezy with an east wind today. Wednesday is shaping up to be a little breezy as well, but still sunny for the area. Highs will be similar tomorrow compared to what we'll have today. Our next system arrives late in the workweek, bringing showers to the area Thursday and Friday.
