Highs will be a little cooler this weekend with temperatures peaking in the 70s both Saturday and Sunday. A few showers and thunderstorms will linger Saturday evening and into the overnight hours. Sunday will be dry, but breezy. Expect plenty of sunshine Sunday with a northwest breeze gusting to near 20 mph throughout the day. Sunshine is in the forecast with lower and middle 70s as we head back to work Monday. I'm seeing a chance of showers Tuesday into Wednesday.
Showers and thundershowers move in throughout Saturday
Precipitation is forecast to move across northern Minnesota Saturday morning and eventually move into the Northland midday and into the afternoon.

Temperatures will only hit the mid-single digits this Tuesday afternoon, but a west breeze will keep us feeling very bitter all day.
All that is required is a subtle rising motion in the air or a subtle cooling of the air at cloud level.
