Bitterly cold air has returned to the region with high temperatures barely making it above zero today. Duluth's high of four degrees will feel much colder when you add in a blustery northwest wind at 10-20mph, gusting to 35mph. The wind will gradually taper off tonight with lows falling to -15 degrees but it will still be frigid on Thursday with a high of 1 degree despite a sunny sky. The next chance for snow comes on Friday with temperatures back in the teens.
