Southwest winds send much of the Northland back into record-high territory Friday with low 70s possible. A cold front draped just south of the Canadian border will keep highs near International Falls closer to 60. We continue to see more sun than clouds but clouds will increase overnight into Saturday. Minnesota deer hunting opener on Saturday will begin with morning temps in the 40s and 50s with areas of fog possible due to the amount of moisture in the air. Highs reach around 60 with breezy south winds. Sunday will be similar with stronger south winds ahead of an approaching system. This brings rain chances west to east Sunday night and Monday. Monday could shape up to be quite wet, particularly for east central Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. That system cuts off our warm stretch and brings a return of typical November weather on Tuesday.
