Highs remain in the 30s for much of the Northland through the weekend and into next week.

We're off to another mild start on Friday with temperatures mostly in the mid-20s. Highs will be a touch cooler but still above normal, ranging from the mid-20s near International Falls and Ely to the mid-30s along a line from Aitkin to Hayward. Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds. We drop back into the teens Friday night into Saturday morning with isolated single digits possible then we top off with highs right around freezing under mostly cloudy skies. A passing system will try and stir up flurries Saturday, but this will be challenged by dry air in place with high pressure. Sunday will be similar with a slight chance for light snow clipping Sawyer County to Gogebic County. Our quiet and relatively comfortable stretch takes us through much of next week with a gradual warmup.

Friday: Mix of clouds and sun. High around 32. N wind 5-10 mph. Friday night: Partly cloudy. Low 18. Wind light and variable.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a few flurries possible. High 32. W wind 2-8 mph.

Sunday: Mix of clouds and sun. High 32. W wind 5-10 mph.

Monday: Partly cloudy. High 34.
