Friday: West winds will once again be rather breezy Friday, but not as relentless as yesterday. Temperatures top off in the mid and upper 60s. Daytime heating will lead to a few afternoon clouds along with a chance for an isolated thunderstorm. If these develop, the best chance is south of the Twin Ports.

Saturday: Saturday features few clouds, mild winds, and seasonable temps with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. A system approaching Saturday night keeps severe potential south of the Northland, but scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms are possible early Sunday morning.

Sunday: That system moves northeast with lingering rain potential Sunday evening limited to the tip of the Arrowhead region and east of the Bayfield Peninsula. This passing system stirs up more gusty winds out of the west and keeps cloud cover thick Sunday. Highs will again be in the upper 60s and low 70s.

Monday: We stick with cooler temps, gray skies, and a slight chance for showers Labor Day. Temps will struggle to reach the mid 60s.
