The temperature at Duluth International Airport reached 75 degrees Friday, snapping the previous record high for the month, set on Nov. 3, 1903, when local thermometers rose to 73 degrees, according to National Weather Service data.
To put Friday's balmy temperature in perspective, consider that the average high for Nov. 6 is 41 degrees.
The high Friday surpassed a 73-degree reading Wednesday, which also set a record. The previous high for that date, Nov. 4, was 69 degrees, set in 1975 and 2016.
The weather service forecasts that temperatures will remain well above normal this weekend, with clouds developing overnight.
