Tuesday will be the coldest day of the week with a bitterly cold wind to add insult to injury. Wind chills will be between -30 and -40 degrees so don't be fooled by the sunshine. Actual air temperatures will stay below zero as well with a high of -4 degrees in the afternoon. The northwest wind will stay brisk at 10-20mph, gusting over 25mph at times.
Tuesday night temperatures will plunge into the -20s under a starry sky though the wind will be diminishing. Wind chills will still be dangerous cold.
An increasing southwest wind will bring teens back for Wednesday but also more clouds by the end of the day with a chance for light snow by Wednesday night.
