The chance for thunderstorms this afternoon and evening is there, the issue will be timing. As of now, storms look to move through mid-afternoon, and be gone by 7-8 p.m., a few hours before firework shows begin. We will keep you updated on the Duluth News Tribune StormTracker app, as well as on the website throughout the day today for the latest information. We're starting Monday off slightly cooler in the upper 80s. Tuesday brings the chance of showers and much cooler weather in the 60s, with an easterly wind. Temperatures look to stay cool and comfortable through Thursday, before the upper 70s try to make a return next weekend.
