Temperatures heading out the door are a mixed bag with chilly single digits near the Iron Range and Hayward areas while milder 20s can be found near Lake Superior. Our Wednesday is breezy with west-northwest winds gusting up to 20 mph. Highs range from the upper 20s near Ely to the mid-30s along the North Shore and across Northwest Wisconsin. Sunshine takes us through the morning, then clouds increase from the northwest as we head into the evening. Patchy clouds lingering overnight help keep temperatures from dropping back into the single digits. Thursday comes with more widespread mid-30s across the Northland and few clouds. There's a slight chance for light snow to try and work its way south of the Canadian border Saturday evening, and then again on Monday. Overall, we continue to stay in quiet and relatively comfortable conditions through this week and into the middle of next week.
