An area of high pressure will work to keep our weather fairly quiet as we head through the day today. However, our next system will begin to approach our region later tonight and this could bring some scattered rain showers and thunderstorms into the region for Tuesday. Behind this system, a few spotty rain showers, and perhaps even a few weak thunderstorms, may be around both Wednesday afternoon and possibly for Thursday afternoon as well. Otherwise; expect generally quiet conditions for Friday and into the weekend. Our next system may try to move into our region as we head into the start of next work week. In the meantime, expect highs in the mid to upper-70s for today, and then around 70° for Tuesday. Temperatures will likely be in the lower-70s for Wednesday, and then around 70° for the day on Thursday before returning to the mid to upper-70s by the end of the work week.
