A few showers, rumbles possible Thursday in Northland

A cold front will slowly drop across the area bringing a chance of showers and a few thunderstorms throughout the day ahead.

Temperatures will warm up nicely for most of Thursday. We'll top off close to 80 degrees in Duluth with some mid-80s to our south. A breeze will start out of the southwest and eventually switch to northwest as this front passes. Wind gusts Thursday could hit the mid-20s.

Friday is looking cooler with lower to mid-70s across the area and a west breeze.
