Nova provides calmness to people in hospice

Nova, a 120-pound Newfoundland, is a new therapy dog at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth. Her trainer and owner, Jack Lee, is a graduate student at the College of St. Scholastica and volunteers his time with Nova at Solvay once a week. Solvay is an ongoing project of the Miller-Dwan Foundation, with care provided by Essentia Health St. Mary's Hospice. (Samantha Erkkila / serkkila@duluthnews.com)
