Luke Fehr of Altona, Manitoba, came across this Hungarian partridge frozen in the snow on the Manitoba prairie in early February. Fehr was out scouting for wildlife when he came across the partridge on the side of a gravel road. It looked alive, he said, but didn’t move as he drove past so he approached and found the partridge was frozen solid.
