Joni Symons and Matthew Kearns, both of Duluth, plan to be married March 20 at Superior Shores Resort in Two Harbors.
Her parents are Nancy Mahady and John and Linda Symons, all of Two Harbors. His parents are Mark and Rita Kearns of New Richmond, Wis.
The future bride, a 1996 graduate of Two Harbors High School, graduated from Lake Superior College with an associate degree. She is a surgical technologist at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.
The future groom, a 2000 graduate of New Richmond High School in New Richmond, Wis., is pursuing a masters degree in education at St. Scholastica in Duluth. He works for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources in Two Harbors.
