Strand, Wibben
Sarah Strand of Roseville, Minn., and Joshua Wibben of New Brighton, Minn., plan to be married in October in the Kitchi Gammi Club in Duluth.
Her mother is Rebecca Byers Strand of Duluth. His parents are Russell and Linda Wibben of Eden Prairie, Minn.
The future bride, a graduate of Princeton (Ill.) High School, graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., with a bachelor's degree in neuroscience and psychology and is pursuing a master's degree in technology management from St. Thomas University in St. Paul. She is a neuromodulation clinical research associate for Medtronic Inc. in Minneapolis.
The future groom, a graduate of Eden Prairie (Minn.) High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in electrical engineering. He is a senior design engineer for Polar Semiconductor in Bloomington, Minn.
