YourSports: Northern Lights basketball team places sixth at state tournament

The Northern Lights 10th grade girls basketball team finished in sixth at the Minnesota Amateur Athletic Union Division I state championship May 17-18 in Bloomington. The team finished 2-2 at the tournament, beating the Minnesota Fury Gold and Minnesota Comets Elite and losing the the Fury Blue team and the Minnesota Stars Crossfire.
Next the team will play in the AAU Division II national tournament July 21-25 in Cincinnati.
