Hailey Adair and Alison Shrift scored 6:05 apart early in the first period and Peters made the lead stand.

The Saints' Sheridan Friesen was pulled from net after Shrift's goal and Lindsey Hartfiel stopped all 23 shots she faced.

The eighth-ranked Yellowjackets improved to 12-2-4; No. 9 St. Scholastica fell to 9-3-2.
