The Duluth Xpress beat Bemidji 4-1 and 5-4 in Upper 13 League action on Sunday in Cloquet.
St. Scholastica's Kyle Jensen pitched four shutout innings in the opener, while Andy Schwantes had an RBI-double, stolen base and a run. The seven-inning game was completed in under 90 minutes.
The Xpress won the second game in dramatic fashion as Rejean Carlson beat the throw to home on Kyle Jensen's hit to shortstop in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Brian Houdek got the win in relief, while starter Joel Wuorio pitched five solid innings. Jake Casareto of International Falls paced the offense by going 3-for-3 with three stolen bases and a run.
The Xpress are now 17-2 on the season and face the Duluth Padres on Wednesday at Minnesota Duluth.
