Women's golf: Duluth's Kunst places 12th in State Open

Duluth native Tabitha Kunst finished 12th after carding an even-par 72 in Wednesday's final round of the Minnesota Women's State Open at Deer Run Golf Club in Victoria.

Duluth native Tabitha Kunst finished 12th after carding an even-par 72 in Wednesday's final round of the Minnesota Women's State Open at Deer Run Golf Club in Victoria.

Kunst, a 2011 Duluth East graduate, began the day in a tie for 23rd place after shooting a 4-over 76 in the first round Tuesday.

Kenzie Neisen, representing New Prague Golf Course, won the tournament for the second time in three years after shooting a 36-hole score of 7-under 137.
