It's the week before the Beargrease, but the contest begins now -- and you have a chance to win. Each day this week through Friday, a Mystery Musher will appear on DNTV , the News Tribune's daily Web news update, beginning at noon.
All are well-known Northland celebrities prominent in the arts, civic and social circles, if not quite mushing, and probably won't be racing in the actual sled-dog marathon.
Each day on DNTV, a Mystery Musher will give clues to his or her identity. The reader or viewer who can identify the most will win a $250 gift card from Wintergreen Northern Wear (a drawing will be held in the event of multiple correct entries).
Entry forms will appear online and in print Friday, Jan. 28, and will be accepted through Tuesday, Feb. 1. Also, we'll make it easier by presenting multiple-choice answers for each day's musher. Save them for your final selections on Friday.
