Haley Rohwer and Jessica Remer had 11 kills apiece to lead St. Scholastica to its second straight win and first at home, a 3-0 (25-13, 25-22, 25-11) MIAC victory over Concordia-Moorhead Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, before 118 at Reif Gymnasium in Duluth.
Delaney Schaeffer added nine kills and was tough along the net with four blocks while Katie Brostrom and Ellie Greenwaldt added 23 and 17 set assists, respectively, for the Saints (2-6 overall, 2-2 MIAC). Teammates Alcia Draper and Alana Mayry led the defense with 24 and 18 digs, respectively. Draper leads NCAA Division III in digs per set at 7.54.
CSS, which had a season-high seven blocks, has won three straight matches over Concordia.
Anna Brakke had eight kills and Chloe Markovic had 12 digs to lead the Cobbers (6-11, 0-4).
CSS hits the road to face No. 24 Bethel University at 7 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul.
