St. Scholastica sophomore Jessica Remer was named UMAC Player of the Year on Monday, the sixth Saints player to be so honored and first since 2014.
Remer ranked second in NCAA Division III, averaging 4.77 kills per set and fourth with 5.26 points per set. She led the UMAC in both categories. She recorded six consecutive double-doubles at one point during the season on her way to earning All-UMAC first-team laurels.
CSS sophomore Alcia Draper was named UMAC Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season. The two-time first-team All-UMAC choice accumulated nearly 200 digs in just eight conference matches. Her 6.82 digs per set in league play led the conference and ranked eighth in the nation.
Sophomore setter Katie Brostrom was named to the second team.
