Jessica Remer had 22 kills and 15 digs as St. Scholastica bounced back to beat Minnesota-Morris 25-19, 27-29, 25-14, 25-17 in UMAC volleyball Saturday at Reif Gymnasium in Duluth.
Ashley Larson added 10 kills, six ace serves and 15 digs, Kate Brostrom ran the offense with 34 set assists and Alcia Draper paced the defense with 32 digs for the Saints (7-1 overall, 7-1 UMAC).
McKenzie Newton had 35 set assists and 22 digs for the Cougars (4-4, 4-3).
Kaylin Plautz had 16 kills and four digs to lead Wisconsin-Superior to a 25-8, 25-19, 29-31, 25-16 UMAC victory over Martin Luther in New Ulm, Minnesota.
Alexie Pryd had 13 kills and 17 digs for UWS (7-1, 7-1) while Megan Holz had 48 set assists and five aces. Kelsey Birschbach had 12 kills and eight digs for the Knights (4-6, 2-6).
UMAC tourney begins Monday
The UMAC postseason volleyball tournament begins 7 p.m. Monday when No. 9 Crown plays at No. 8 North Central in Minneapolis.
Regular-season champion Northwestern earned the No. 1 and will host No. 4 Minnesota-Morris at 7 p.m. Thursday, with No. 3 Wisconsin-Superior at No. 2 St. Scholastica at 7 p.m. the same day.
