Former Duluth Denfeld standout Caitlin Schneeweis headlines St. Scholastica’s 2020 volleyball recruiting class, announced Wednesday.

Schneeweis, the 2018 News Tribune All-Area Player of the Year, was a four-time all-conference performer for the Hunters who played last season for the University of Mary, an NCAA Division II program in Bismarck, North Dakota, where the 6-foot outside hitter was fifth on the team with 100 kills.

Schneeweis is joined by outside hitter Alana Mayry (Hermantown), outside hitter Mikhara Anderson (Greenway/Coleraine), middle hitter Ashley Faur (Pine City, Minnesota), middle/outside hitter Lizzie Hilgers (Belle Plaine, Minnesota), defensive specialist Megan Leland (Pine Island, Minnesota), defensive specialist/setter Quinlyn Rubeck (Fall Creek, Wisconsin), middle hitter Delaney Schaeffer (Brainerd, Minnesota) and setter Mia Wyman (McCall, Idaho).

St. Scholastica (16-9 overall, 7-1 UMAC) is coming off a season in which it captured a share of the UMAC regular-season title.
