Two losses over the weekend dropped the Minnesota Duluth volleyball team from No. 5 to a tie for No. 8 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division II poll.

The Bulldogs (23-5) fell into a tie with NSIC rival Concordia-St. Paul. Northern State, No. 7 last week, vaulted over both teams to No. 4 and St. Cloud State rose from No. 9 to No. 7.

Cal State-San Bernardino remained at No. 1, followed by Nebraska-Kearney at No. 2 and Washburn at No. 3.

The Bulldogs open the NSIC tournament against Augustana at noon Friday at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.
