The Wisconsin-Superior volleyball team cruised past Bethany Lutheran in the Yellowjackets' UMAC tournament opener on Monday.

The 'Jackets won 25-19, 25-12, 25-18.

UWS' quarterfinal victory sent the Yellowjackets into the semifinals against No. 1-seed Northwestern at 7 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul. No. 3-seed St. Scholastica plays No. 2-seed Minnesota Morris in Morris in the other semifinal at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The tournament championship is 7 p.m. Saturday on the highest remaining seed's home court.

Against Bethany Lutheran, UWS' Cami Sletta had 15 kills and Hannah Goggleye had 12 kills and two solo blocks. Gina Baertsch had 20 set assists and Megan Holz had 17 assists. Brylee Golligan had four kills and 15 digs and Yana Carrera had 14 digs.
