The Minnesota Vikings domination of the Pro Bowl continues with 11 players garnering the most fan votes at the 19 positions.

Seven other Vikings players are second, which would assure them of spots on the Pro Bowl roster. Fan votes, though, account for one-third of the total, along with coaches and players, who vote later this month.

Leading the voting at their respective positions are running back Adrian Peterson, center John Sullivan, left tackle Bryant McKinnie, left guard Steve Hutchinson, fullback Naufahu Tahi, defensive end Jared Allen, defensive tackle Pat Williams, kickoff returner Percy Harvin, kicker Ryan Longwell, punter Chris Kluwe and special teamer Heath Farwell.

Players who are second are quarterback Brett Favre, right tackle Phil Loadholt, right guard Anthony Herrera, cornerback Antoine Winfield, defensive tackle Kevin Williams, safety Madieu Williams and linebacker Chad Greenway.

Safety Tyrell Johnson and middle linebacker E.J. Henderson are third at their respective positions, while receiver Sidney Rice, tight end Visanthe Shiancoe and cornerback Cedric Griffin are fifth, respectively.

Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts leads all players with 853,565 votes as of Monday. Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints is second (848,624) followed by Favre (840,498), Peterson (838,985) and Minneapolis native Larry Fitzgerald (529,904).

The final Pro Bowl team will be announced Dec. 29 on the NFL Network and the game will be played Jan. 31 at Dolphin Stadium.

Super Bowl XLIV will be played Feb. 7, also at Dolphin Stadium.

The Pro Bowl long has been in Hawaii and was played after the Super Bowl. But the change means there could be even more players selected than usual.

Players on teams in the Super Bowl will be introduced at the game but will not play.
