The Minnesota Duluth men's and women's teams moved up one spot in Monday's U.S. College Hockey Online Division I polls.
The UMD men (3-0-1) are No. 6 after a home sweep of Providence College 5-3 and 7-1. The Bulldogs are No. 5 in the USA Today-USA Hockey Magazine poll. UMD opens the Western Collegiate Hockey Association season Friday and Saturday at home against Alaska Anchorage.
The UMD women (3-1) are No. 4 after a home sweep of Minnesota State-Mankato. The Bulldogs have a non-conference home series Saturday and Sunday afternoon against Connecticut.
