The Minnesota Twins dropped Game 1 of their American League Division Series to the New York Yankees, 6-4, tonight at Target Field in Minneapolis.
Starting pitcher Francisco Liriano and the Twins held a 3-0 lead going into the sixth inning, but the Yankees struck for four runs in the sixth and two more in the seventh to take the lead.
Game 2 is Thursday at 5:07 p.m. It is being televised by TBS.
