The Tri-City Storm of Kearney, Neb., outlasted Sioux City (Iowa) in a shootout Saturday night to win the U.S. Hockey League preseason Clyde Iron Cup at the Duluth Heritage Sports Center. The teams were tied 2-2 through overtime. Tri-City goalie Mike Santiguida didn't allow a goal the second half of the game.
The Lincoln (Neb.) Stars defeated Green Bay 5-0 in the third-place game. Scoring for the Stars were Justin Woods, Dominik Shine, Ross Olsson and Will Suter.
In Friday's semifinals, Tri-City stopped Lincoln 3-0, while Sioux City stopped Green Bay 7-5.
