The St. Scholastica and Wisconsin-Superior men stand 1-2 after the first day of the UMAC Track and Field Outdoor Championships on Friday in Morris, Minnesota.

The Saints have totaled 89 points and the Yellowjackets 66 heading into Saturday’s final day of competition.

Among CSS winners were Easton Foss in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Ryan Steger in the 800, Isaac Kobienia in the long jump and the 3,200 relay.

Nate Huju captured the 400 hurdles for UWS’ lone win.

In women’s action, Minnesota-Morris leads St. Scholastica by 17 points (86-69), with UWS in third with 53 points.

CSS' Lexi Erickson took the top spot in the 400 hurdles and Daya Davidson and Melissa Geisenhof went 1-2 in the pole vault.

The Yellowjackets’ Leann Torgerson won the 200 and qualified first for Saturday’s 100 finals.
