Senior Cole Lebourgeois posted Minnesota Duluth’s lone top-four finish Friday at the NSIC Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championships in Mankato, Minnesota.
Lebourgeois was timed in 2 minutes, 30.78 seconds in the 1,000 meters, finishing 1.47 seconds behind winner Evan Johnson of Augustana.
Lebourgeois also led off the UMD distance medley, which placed fifth in 10:30.59.
No team scores were available late Friday.
St. Scholastica takes aim at a 12th consecutive UMAC women’s indoor track and field championships when the meet takes place Saturday at Wisconsin-Superior.
The Saints own the top times in five events from the two meets that were held earlier this season.
No spectators will be allowed at the event.
