Joel Gaulrapp's goal at 9:27 in the second period lifted seventh-ranked Wisconsin-Stout to a 2-2 tie with second-ranked St. Scholastica on Friday in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association men's hockey game before 1,001 at Mars Lakeview Arena.
The tie snapped the Saints' 10-game winning streak but extended their unbeaten streak to 11.
David Larson opened the scoring for Stout at 10:55 in the first period before St. Scholastica took a 2-1 lead with goals by A.J. Tucker and Jordan Baird later in the period.
Goalie Matt Koenig stopped 37 shots for the Blue Devils (13-5-1, 5-2-1), while Steve Bounds had 31 saves for the Saints (14-3-2, 5-2-1).

Defenseman Kent Detlefsen scored two goals as the third-ranked Yellowjackets held on to first place in the NCHA with the win before 975 on Friday night at Wessman Arena.
Chad Beiswenger stopped 23 shots for UWS (16-2-1, 7-1), which also got goals from Dane Bushey, Kevin Huck and Seth Reda.
With UWS leading 2-0, River Falls backup goalie Bo Storozuk replaced Stephen Ritter midway through the first period and stopped 28 shots to lead the Falcons (8-10-1, 2-6).
North Dakota 8, Denver 3
North Dakota jumped out to a 4-0 first-period lead on the way to a victory over Denver, pulling the host Sioux within one point of the first-place Pioneers.
North Dakota (15-10-2, 10-5-2), which shares second place with idle Wisconsin, can take over first place today if they sweep Denver (15-7-2, 11-5-1).
The Sioux showed balance as all four lines scored and no player had more than one goal. Senior defensemen Joe Finley had a career-high four-point game with a goal and three assists. Defenseman Jake Marto and forward Ryan Duncan each added a goal and two assists.

UND drove Denver's Marc Cheverie, the top goalie in the league statistically, to the bench twice. He was pulled after the Sioux scored their first four goals in a span of 6:08. He returned to start the second period, but was taken out again after UND scored two more goals early in the third period for a 7-3 advantage.
Sioux goalie Brad Eidsness finished with 25 saves while Cheverie and backup Lars Paulgaard combined for 22 stops for Denver.

Wisconsin-River falls 2, OT
Superior's Melissa Kunzelman and River Falls' Cassie Campbell engaged in a goalies' duel that ended in an NCHA stalemate Friday afternoon at Wessman Arena.
All four goals were scored in the second period -- Jasmine Pollack and Lindsey LeGree tallied scores for UWS (9-5-2, 5-2-2) -- before the goalies took over.
Kunzelman made 32 saves, 13 in the third period and overtime. Campbell stopped 30 shots for the Falcons (9-4-2, 7-2-1), which entered the weekend in first place in the NCHA. The teams meet again at 2 p.m. today.
