Jon Kelton had three of the Border Cats' 10 hits, while Ryan Terry and Chris Curley each drove in a pair of runs for Thunder Bay (15-14).

The Huskies (8-19) lost for the 13th time in the past16 games.

Thunder Bay jumped to a4-0 lead before Duluth scored three runs in the sixth inning. Andrew Durden tripled in two runs, and Tim Jobe singled in a run with one of his three hits.

Kyle Breese earned the win, and Jimmy Stanley pitched a scoreless ninth for his sixth save.

Losing pitcher Aaron Barrett allowed nine hits in five innings.
