Adkins, Solberg victorious at Northern Junior Open
Zachary Adkins and Jessica Solberg won the 18-year-old boys and girls singles titles at the Northern Junior Open tennis tournament this past weekend at Longview Tennis Club.
Adkins defeated Tommy Vang 6-4, 6-4 in the boys final while Jessica Solberg defeated Ann Heyer 6-3, 6-0 in the girls final.
Other boys singles champions included Thomas Mayerchak (14-year-olds), Charlie Adkins (16), Jacob Seitz (12) and Zoe Adkins (10).
Other girls singles champions included Mary Claire Mayerchak (16), Lainey Axell (14) and Claire Gunsbury (12).

The tournament also included doubles, with the Adkins being among the top performers.
