Stonie loses hot dog eating crown to Chestnut at Coney Island contest

NEW YORK - Matt “Megatoad” Stonie was dethroned by Joey “Jaws” Chestnut at the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest on Monday, losing by 17 hot dogs.
Stonie, who stands 5-foot-8 and weighs 130 pounds, lost the dog fight by a count of 70-53, coming in second place to Chestnut. Last year, he beat Chestnut at the annual contest at Coney Island by eating 62 hot dogs, beating him by two. Monday was Chestnut’s ninth win at Coney Island.
