Kenny Roberts grand slam in the bottom of the first inning helped spark the Willmar Stingers to a 9-3 Northwoods League baseball victory over the Duluth Huskies on Saturday night before 1,252 at Bill Taunton Stadium in Willmar, Minn.

Roberts finished with two hits and five RBIs, while Zach Benson added a home run for Willmar (18-10), which strengthened its place atop the North Division second half standings after taking two of three from Duluth (15-14).

Trey Vavra had three hits to lead the Huskies, who are off today before beginning a two-game series at Mankato.
