St. Scholastica seniors Alec French and Chris Lambach were named Upper Midwest Athletic conference players of the year Tuesday.
French was named defensive player of the year after leading the Saints with 10.2 tackles per game, while also making three interceptions and recovering two fumbles.
Lambach was named offensive lineman of the year after anchoring a unit that allowed only nine sacks and scored 25 rushing touchdowns.
Other Saints' first-team selections: Jake Jensen, Cory Gebhard, Peter Stanley, Mike Theismann, Blake Cedarleaf, Keaton Rush and Mike LaValley. Mitch O'Neil, Joe Geiselman and Jake Turkowski were on the second team.
