St. Scholastica Hall of Fame inductions tonight
Four former athletes, a former college president and an entire team will join the St. Scholastica athletic Hall of Fame during induction ceremonies tonight.
Inducted into the schohol's second Hall of Fame class are: Bill Courchaine, goaltender on the 1975 and 1977 NAIA champions; Janice (Monsaas) Sayovitz, the school's all-time women's basketball rebounding leader; Tim Radosevich, men's basketball's all-time school scoring leader; three-time NAIA All-American women's cross country runner Desiree (Budd) Essler; former President Father Francis X. Shea, who started intercollegiate athletics at the school in 1972; and the 1987-88 women's basketball team, winners of the NLCAA championship.
A social hour begins at 6 p.m. in the lobby of the Burns Wellness Center, with a dinner and ceremony to follow. The ceremony can be seen live on www.csssaints.com at 7:30 p.m.
