A St. Paul man was treated and released at Cook Hospital on Saturday after he was accidentally shot by his brother while they were grouse hunting.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office said Daniel Liska, 48, was injured while hunting with David Liska, 49, of Forest Lake, Minn., near Elephant Lake north of Orr. The two were 25 to
30 yards apart when a grouse flushed and David shot. He did not see his brother, who was struck by shotgun pellets in the face and hand. David brought Daniel to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
